Introduction: How to Make Spinach and Red Onion Quiche

Spinach and Caramelized Red Onion Quiche
Prepare the bases. Mix egg, cream and milk and whisk together. Season with little salt and pepper. Chop leeks and cook off in a saucepan. Dice red onion and fry off in a little butter and a small amount of brown sugar until they start to brown. Add frozen spinach and cook until spinach softens. When leeks are cooked add to this. Place mixture in the base. Fill up with egg mixture and sprinkle the grated cheese over the quiche. Place to the pre heated oven. Leave in oven at 180°C for 20-25 mins until golden brown and egg mix has set. Serve with a nice green salad.

Red Onions - 1

Spinach - 200g

Leeks - 1

Eggs - 2

Milk - 200ml

Cream - 50ml

Cheese - 50g (optional)

Salt, Pepper for taste
