I decided to do this for my lovely mother. Mother's day was right around corner and I wanted to do something cute and it took me a long time to finally chose this. It was not as hard as I thought making it , it just took longer than I expected. To learn how to make one just follow my simple steps.

Step 1: Materials

1. Glass Jar

2. Engraver Tool

3. Wood

4. Roses

5. Dremel

6.Sandpaper

7. Band Saw

8. Wire Cutters

9. LED Lights

Step 2: Make a Circle

Trace a circle around your jar, or put paint around the jar and put it on the wood to make an outline of the jar.

Step 3: Cutting

Then you cut the edges of the wood to make it look close to a circle, it only cuts in a straight line.

Step 4: Sanding It

After you sand it to make it look like a circle. Sand it as much as you want using a sand block will probably make the process faster.

Step 5: Engraving

I used the Dremel and the engraver tool to help me engrave a circle on the base so the glass can fit in the circle.

Step 6: Painting

I painted the base with a very dark blue wood based paint, it gave it a beautiful finish. Put it out to dry for like 20 minutes.

Step 7: Size the Flower to Fit Your Glass Jar & LED Lights

I used wire cutters to cut the wire of the flower and then wrap the LED lights around the rose. (I choose blue ones).

Step 8: Finishing Touches

Make hole in middle of base to fit bottom of flower with Dremel and then, put flower in the middle. Last but not least put glass jar over and you have a flower in a glass dome.
