Introduction: How to Make an Exposure Flash

About: Love learning, love life, love traveling

Exposure flashes are needed on many occasions, and the most used by electronic production enthusiasts is the use of the exposure of the photographic plate during the homemade PCB making process. The exposure lamp can use an ultraviolet tube or an ordinary LED illuminator, except that the exposure time and intensity required for the different exposure lamps may vary.

If you also want to use the stencil board to do the PCB board, then DIY a good exposure light may help you.

So how do you make an exposure flash yourself?

Step 1: Material Preparation

1, LED light board 1

2, acrylic shell 1

3, DC5.0 power interface 1

4, wire tools, etc.

For these materials, we can buy if fromjotrin or some other famous online shops

Step 2: LED Astigmatism Effect

According to the schematic diagram, the first test whether each set of lights can be normally lit and whether the brightness of the power-on test is normal. The effect of light divergence, the brightness is still good.

Step 3: Placed in an Aluminum Substrate

According to the size of the acrylic shell, the LED aluminum substrate is cut so that it can be placed in the shell with the best size. The LED aluminum substrate is pre-loaded into the shell.

Step 4: Opening

The front side of the acrylic case, the scratch-resistant protective film on the surface has not been torn open, and the hole is opened on the outside for installing the power socket.

Step 5: Install DC Socket

Install 5.0 DC power outlet

Step 6: Welding Completed

According to the LED grouping, the solder joints are connected by wires, and the flying leads are welded.

Step 7: Glue Fixing

Fix the aluminum substrate and the bottom acrylic plate with hot melt adhesive (the temperature generated by the tested LED is not enough to cause the hot melt to melt)

Step 8: Tear Off Protective Film

Close the acrylic shell test effect, tear open the protective film, LED light scattering effect is still very bright

Step 9: Sticker

Since the acrylic sheet is completely transparent and the LED light is too concentrated, it is better to add a layer of astigmatism. So put a layer of sulfuric acid paper on the acrylic plate to increase the astigmatism effect, add a layer of sulfuric acid paper to the bottom of the acrylic plate.

Step 10: Finished Production

At this point, the exposure lamp is completed, which is the final result, simple and convenient, with texture

Step 11: Finished Product Appreciation

The production is complete, let's take a look at the finished product and the lighting effect:

When the light is not turned on, the surface of a layer of sulfuric acid paper blocks the internal structure that cannot be seen inside. The overall appearance is very simple.

Connected to the 15V power supply, turn on the light, the overall light is bright, the light is evenly dispersed, and the exposure is good.

Step 12: Design Principle

The external power supply voltage uses a power supply of 15V24W or higher. On the basis of the original wiring, design a new LED combination method of 3*5 as a group, and then use three of them in parallel to meet the external power supply requirements:
