Introduction: How to Undo Your Stitches Without Worry!

About: Creatiknit.com ♥ Knit & Crochet designer ♥ Blogger ♥ Mom ♥ Tea drinker with a flair for all things whimsical & woodland ♥ Hi, I'm Angela, and I am the pattern designer behind CreatiKnit! I remember long ago…

So you’re looking at your knitting, and you feel pretty good about how it looks!
Everything seems to be going great…then you see it! That one tiny mistake in the middle of your row! Ahhh!

Not to worry! I will show you how to undo your stitches right back to that stitch, so you can fix it! This method is SO easy…I’ve even seen knitters squeal with delight once they’ve learned it…because it’s really cool!

Watch the video below, follow the photo tutorial…or both!

Step 1: Locate the Stitch Below the Live Stitch. It Will Look Like a V. You Will Go Through the Center of This V.

Step 2: Insert Your Left Needle Through the Center of the V.

Step 3: Pull the Left Side of the Loop Slightly With Your Left Needle.

Step 4: Pull V Off Right Needle, and Onto Left Needle. Pull Working Yarn to Release Live Stitch.

Step 5: You Have Now Undone One Stitch!

Continue steps 1-4 until you reach the stitch you want to correct. You can take out the whole row, or as many rows as you need! I hope this tutorial helped you and added a neat little tip to your knitting knowledge!

And remember, if you ever have any questions about this or any other tutorial, feel free to stop by and ask!

Happy Knitting!
