Introduction: How to Make Garland Out of Fabric

Step 1: Step 1: Cut the Felt


Prepare enough felt and sewing threads of different colors and yarn as well. Draw a flower and two circles in different sizes. Cut off the paper shape. Cut off felt shape as the paper piece. Cut several pieces of green felt in leaf shape to make leaves.

Step 2: Step 2: Make the Flowers and Leaves


Use three strands of contrasting threads, blanket stitch the edges of the petals. Use a running stitch and three strands of contrasting threads; sew the large circle of the petal. Use a running stitch and three strands of contrasting threads; sew the small circle to the large circle. Use a straight stitch and six strands of green threads; sew three lines to create a six point star. Add a French knot to the end of the each point on the star using six strands of green threads. Use a running stitch with six strands of green threads; sew a stem down the center of the leaf. Gather the threads slightly and tie off. Add a small loop to the top of each leaf and each flower.

Step 3: Step 3: Make the Vine With Yarn


Make several flowers in the way shown as above. Use two strands of yarn; chain 40 with crochet hook. Slip a leaf on the hook with the right side up. Chain one catching the leaf loop in the chain.

Step 4: Step 4: the Ending Work


Chain 12; then add a flower in the same manner. Continue adding the rest leaves and flowers. Pull off your last chain and work the ends at the beginning and end of the chain into the chain.
