Introduction: I'm Board
I found this piece of veneer covered MDF. I wanted to make something cool out of it. So I decided to spray it with a funny sentence. This was the result.
Step 1: Cut the Wood
The MDF tiles slotted together on the sides. I did not want these pieces of MDF showing. So I used a tenon saw to cut these bits off. The MDF could be substituted for any kind of wood. I'm sure it would look even better with a really nice wood.
Step 2: Sand
Sand the edges to that there is no obvious pieces of MDF showing. I used 60 grit sand paper and didn't bother with anything finer.
Step 3: Create Letters
I just roughly sketched the letters of "i'm board" onto some card. Once I had sketched them I cut the letters out. Then used double sided tape to attach the letters onto the board. Make sure the letters are stuck firmly down.
Step 4: Spray It
I wanted the spray painted effect. So I got some black spray paint and sprayed over the stuck down letters. The board could also be painted with a paint brush.
Step 5: Finished
Now you can use it to decorate your home. It is a great conversation starter and is a funny ornament. I hope you enjoyed my instructable.

Interesting. Is it a comment about your state of mind or an introduction. Either way, for what it is worth, when I get that bored or board I go outside. Maybe next time I will make one of these. How about 'Grow a pear'.
