Introduction: K'NEX Gun Attachments

About: K'NEX gun builder here at Instructables. More or less retired from the community, but I still pop in now and again.
For quite some time now my brother (E Pluribus Unum) and I have thought that it would be good to have a compiled guide to K'NEX gun attachments, and so, we present to you some of ours. This instructable will give you good starting points to: ACOG sights, attachment bars, bipods, forgrips, slanted foregrips, grenade launchers, holographic sights, red dot sights, simple scopes, and simple sights. These are all totally open to mods, and may require some to fit to your particular gun. So, without further adieu, lets move to step one.

Step 1: The ACOG Sight

The ACOG sight (Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight) was designed by Trijicon to fit certain gunman needs. It has become hugely popular because of it durability and usability.

My sight is not amazing in any way, it really is just for looks. It is really easy to build, and so, I provided plenty of pictures for you guys to use. Mod it to fit your gun, and you will have a good looking sight.

Step 2: Attachment Bar/Rail

The attachment bar is not used very much when it comes to K'NEX. I think it should be used more often, and so, I provided pictures so that you guys would see how it works. All you have to do is implement the blue and purple connecters into the body of your gun, and attach all that you possibly can to your new rails!

Step 3: Bipod

The K'NEX bipod is probably one of the most useful of attachments. It can provide good foregrip, a easy way to steady your gun, or just a way to make your gun look cooler. Mine is an adaptation of the bipod used on Raz1r Knex Bull3t's RSASS, which in turn was developed from brammeke11's Automatic Bipod. It probably will require some modding, as you will need to build it to the length you think you will need.

Step 4: Foregrip

The foregrip is something you wont see very often on K'NEX guns, here at instructables. Nevertheless, it can be quite useful in maneuvering your gun. Mine is an adaptation to the one that BlackShadow12 built on his Knex SWAT 556 from Black Ops 2. Again, this is something that should be modded to fit personal wants/needs.

Step 5: Slanted Foregrip

The slanted foregrip is a favorite of mine. I like the way it feels, the way it attaches, it's usability. Again, you might have to do some modding to get it to look/work the way you want it to, but nobody minds that. This is easy to build, so I provided multiple pictures to get you started.

Step 6: M203 Grenade Launcher

This is another favorite of mine, the M203 grenade launcher. This particular model shoots two different sizes of wheels, but you must make a small change to the gun to have that ability.

Step 7: Holographic Sights (Versions 1 - 4)

Here are four different versions of holographic sights that you can use/mod. Most of them will require some sort of mod to make them fit to your gun, but they should all be useful. None of them are perfect, and many of them look weird, but that is nothing a few changes can't fix.

Step 8: Simple Red Dot Sight

This is a simple red dot sight that I has seen used many times. I just edited it to give it better looks and an easier attachment system. As always, mod it to fit your gun.

Step 9: Scope

This is a simple scope that I have on many of my guns, and it is quite nice looking. It will require some different mods to fit different guns, and you should edit it to make it look like you might want it too.

I hope too see what you guys do to mod these guns. Enjoy!
