Introduction: Laser Cut Touchless Door Openers

About: Hi. My name is Adelle and I work for Trotec Laser, Inc. In my spare time I enjoy sharing projects for people to use on their lasers.

The application below is two in one; a hand and finger hook to open doors and drawers without touching them. Use the file provided to create your own touchless door opener to keep your hands germ-free.

Supplies

  • CO2 laser cutter (We used a Trotec Speedy 360 80W with a 2" lens)
  • 1/4" (6mm) acrylic (available at link below)
  • Laser masking tape or painters tape (this is to seal off you laser bed for optimal exhaust)
