Introduction: Lineman's Loop

Fixed loop. non-jamming, tied in the bight.

aka: Butterfly Loop, Alpine Butterfly Loop

Step 1:

Wrap cord around dowel (fingers) three times.

Step 2:

Grab middle wrap and bring it under the third wrap.

Step 3:

Bring the same wrap to the left over two.

Step 4:

Finally bring the same cord under two.

Step 5:

Remove loose knot from dowel..

Step 6:

Tighten.
