Instructables: How to Loom a Hat

Hat Looming

You will need:

yarn

loom

looming needle

Step 1: Step 1: Securing the Yarn

The first thing to do is secure the yarn by winding it 4 times around the side pin.

Step 2: Step 2: Wrap the Loom

Take the yarn and begin wrapping it around the loom pins.

Go all the way around the loom one time, looping the yarn one time.

Step 3: Step 3: Push the Yarn

Push the looped yard down to the bottom of the yarn pins.

Step 4: Step 4: Loop Again

Loop the yarn around the top of the loom one time.

Step 5: Step 5: Needle Time

Use the looming needle and take the bottom loop over the top loop.

Repeat this step all the way around.

Step 6: Step 6: Loom the Hat

Push the looped yarn down to the bottom of the yarn pins.

Repeat until desired length is achieved.
