Introduction: Lyndonsmachines or Steampunk in Motion
Hello world!, i was kindly invited to be included in this excellent web site.
Have been building wacky mechanical creations since the mid 90s (1990s not 1890s). the various mechanical creations are all usable and serve for useless purposes but mainly to amuse people.
As a result of the various creations was nominated and won Britains most Eccentric award in the 90s.
I call myself a 'Mechanical Follyologist' but seems that ' Steampunk' is now being used for such works.
My Steampunk is far from static- everything works and the series of 'River Machines' can be seen on the River Thames during the 'season'
A new machine is created every winter - watch this space!
