Introduction: Magic Binder (Supersized Magic Wallet for Paper)

I was inspired by EthanGisbson and his duct tape magic wallet.

Rate this if you like it.

Step 1: Supplies

You will need
OPTIONAL
Elastic bands

Items:
2" binder with the rib (metal clips that hold the paper) on the side not in the middle. If you use elastic all you need is a binder and just skip ahead
Tools:
Scissors
Exacto-knife
Hot glue
Tape
Sharp pliers

Step 2: Cut the Middle Out

If you using elastic all you do is cut the middle out.

Cut the center out, but STOP after you cut both sides. Now listen, cut only one of the tops of the center piece. Look at the 2nd picture.
Take out the cardboard inside and put it aside. Your center material should look like the 3rd picture.
Now cut four evenly lines going down. Look at the 4th picture.

Step 3: Cut the Rib Out

This thing is annoying. We need to cut it out. Get the Exacto-knife and slowly cut around the small round metal bumps. Look at the first and second picture. Now go over what you cut. Finaly it should look like picture 3. Hopefully it would look better than mine.

Step 4: Cut the Holes for the = Straps and More

Now slice two lines that look are a pretty good size apart. Look at the picture and judge fairly. Slide the 1 strap in one of each two slits. Make sure the paper will be big enough to fit in the straps.

Now hot glue the straps in place and tape over it just in case. Should look like 2nd picture.

Last take the straps and flip the binder over. Confusing then look at the picture.

Step 5: Cut for the X Straps

Now cut 2 slits (same thing but make sure it is not wider then the = straps) that is a little closer to the center of side.
Flip it over and make the straps go across it in a X manner.

Step 6: Piece Together

Take the two binder sides and measure where each strap will be and mark it. Cut the slits on the bottom the of the marks that you made. Dont cut the top part. Look at the pictures. Slide the straps through your cuts. Tighten them up so the paper dont fall down and finally glue.

Step 7: Finishing Touches

Extra white binder material glue it over the holes to cover it up. Test it out and impress teachers and classmates.
