Magic Boat

Materials Required: 1 Origami Paper

Step 1:

Fold the paper in half (along the dotted line) and then unfold it.

Step 2:

Fold the upper and lower halves into halves to form a rectangle and then unfold it.

Step 3:

Rotate 90 Degrees clockwise.

Step 4:

Fold the paper in half and then unfold it.

Step 5:

Fold the upper and lower halves(along the dotted lines) into halves to form a rectangle and then unfold it.

There should be creases that form 16 squares.

Step 6:

Fold the paper diagonally and unfold it.

Step 7:

Fold the paper along the other diagonal.

Step 8:

Unfold it and keep the coloured part topside(Facing you) and rotate so that it is in diamond shape.(♦)

Step 9:

Fold all the corners inside till the tip of the corner reaches the center. You should get a square.

Step 10:

Unfold and Flip the paper upside-down so that the non-coloured part is topside(Facing Up).

Step 11:

Fold the upper and lower halves(along the dotted line) into halves to form a rectangle.

Step 12:

Rotate the paper 90 Degrees Clockwise.

Step 13:

Take the upper two corners (marked with yellow pins) and fold them along the diagonals(marked with dotted lines).

Step 14:

Push down the top part(marked with yellow pin) towards the center of the paper to form a roof-top type shape.

Step 15:

Rotate the paper 180 Degrees Clockwise and repeat step 14.

Step 16:

Rotate 90 Degrees clockwise.

Step 17:

Take the top 2 points and fold them along the diagonal crease(marked with dotted line) to form a rooftop shape.

Step 18:

Flip the paper upside down so that the rooftop becomes the base.

Step 19:

Fold the top right corner(red pin) along the diagonal crease(dotted line). The red pin should trace over the yellow pin.
