Introduction: Make Bluetooth Controlled Robot With Your Own GUI

Hello friends after posing some craft project today i here came with a cool arduino project. It looks old concept externally but wait guys i have some twist here which makes this project unique. So what is unique here?

So here i am going to show you how you can make your own Bluetooth robot with your own GUI yes friends here you can set controls in your own way. This is possible only due to the special type of software named remote xy. The remote xy provides you to design your own graphical user interface. By using this software you can make many types of projects. Believe me it is the simplest way to design your own GUI. SO LET'S START OUR TUTORIAL........

Step 1: Step 1: MATERIALS REQUIRED

1:-ARDUINO NANO OR UNO

2:-BLUETOOTH MODULE HC-05 OR HC-06

3:-L293D MOTOR DRIVER

4:-4 OR 2 MOTORS

5:-4 OR 2 WHEELS

6:-BATTERY

7:-JUMPER CABLES

8:-AND LAST SMARTPHONE OR TABLET

Step 2: DESIGNING PLATFORM (CHASSIS)

Here i have used wooden cardboard to make chassis of the robot. Here i have used motor clamps you can use double sided tape instead of clamps Firstly i have cutted the wooden cardboard into required shape and then painted to it After screwing the clamps i fixed motors and wheels to it Now platform s ready.

Step 3: CIRCUIT WORKS ( CONNECTIONS)

Connect the parts as shown in picture

Step 4: DESIGNING THE GUI (APP USED)

1 :- Go to the remote xy website and design the GUI (shown in the video from A to Z(watch the video))

LINK OF REMOTE XY WEBSITE:- http://remotexy.com

2:- Click on the get source code (upper left corner)

3:- Copy the given code and then paste into provide code by me and upload it to arduino (watch video for full detail)

4:- Go to the play store and search remote xy and install it

5 :- Open remote xy an connect with the arduino by clicking on + button (upper left corner)

6 :- It is ready to use

Step 5: FINAL SETUP

Connect the motors with motor driver and fix all the stuffs on the platform with tapes or hot glue

connect 2 batteries 1 is of 5 volts and 2nd is of 9 or 12 volts as shown in schematic Power on the robot and enjoy
