Today I am going to be showing you how to make origami hearts.

I invented this this strategy of folding the paper the way I am going to be showing you. I tried to make it much easier for people who have not done origami before.

Supplies

We only need one two supplies. that is a regular rectangular sheet of paper, and a working two hands

Step 1: First Step

Your first step is to get out you rectangular piece of paper

Step 2: Step 2

The next step you want to do is fold your paper in half.

Step 3: Step 3

Next you want to unfold it and fold the corner of the paper corresponding with the crease we just folded.

Do the same thing on both sides.

Step 4: Step 4

Next you want do flip the paper upside-down and to the same thing on the other side of the paper.

Again, do it to both sides.

Step 5: Step 5

It should look like this!

Next you want to flip the paper over. After you do that you want to fold in half the paper. But the paper should still have a flap coming out of the bottom of the paper.

Step 7: Step 7

Next you want to fold one of the flaps so now one of the sides of the flaps are at a diagonal angle.

You want to do that to both sides.

Step 8: Step 8

Next on the two corner of the paper, you want to fold the into the closest crease.

Do it to both corners.

Step 9: Step 9 (final Step)

After you do all of the previous 8 steps, you turn your paper over, and you should have A origami heart.

When I made this, I made it so it can go into other origami hearts with the same design. I made it so you can make a cool pattern with it. An example of them going into each-other was in the first picture of the presentation. Hopefully you enjoyed making this, and thank you for your time!
