Introduction: Make Popsicle Sticks Letters a to Z

Is it possible to create the letters of the alphabet from A to Z out of popsicle sticks? I know from experience as I made how to articles on eHow about How to Cut and Fold letter A to Z and I successfully finished the 26 letters of the alphabet. Please come back and check my instructables as I will be making origami of the alphabet.

Who will benefit this craft?

Materials:

Popsicle sticks

Glue

Ruler

Scissor or cutter

Step 1: Letter A

  • You will need 3 sticks.
  • Form two sticks into a V as shown and glue together.
  • Prepare the third sticks and measure about 2 1/2 inches. Glue it horizontally crossing the edges of the two sticks as shown in picture.

Step 2: Letter B

  • Prepare 5 sticks.
  • Set aside one whole stick.
  • For the horizontal parts. Measure about 2 1/2 inches and cut it out with a slant pointed edges. It should look like a trapezoid. Make 3 pieces. Please looks at images to check your work.
  • For the remaining stick. Cut out about inches with a pointed edges.
  • Glue.

Step 3: Letter C

  • Prepare 4 sticks.
  • Take 1 stick and cut both edges slantingly. See image .
  • For the two horizontal part. Measure about 3 inches and cut it out with a slant pointed edges. It should look like a trapezoid. Make 2 pieces.
  • Prepare two smaller parts by measuring about 3/4 of an inch and cut it out.
  • Glue

Step 4: Letter D

  • Prepare 4 sticks
  • For the two horizontal parts. Measure about 3 inches and cut it out with a slant pointed edges. It should look like a trapezoid. Make 2 pieces.
  • Take 1 stick and cut both. See image.
  • Glue

Step 5: Letter E

  • Prepare 4 sticks
  • Measure about 2 1/4 inches. Cut. Make 2 pieces
  • Glue.

Step 6: Letter F

  • Prepare 2 sticks.
  • Cut one of the two sticks in to two parts.
  • Glue it under the whole sticks forming F as shown in the pictures.

Step 7: Letter G

  • You will need 4 sticks.
  • Letter G is like letter C with an extra small edge on the top right part.
  • Cut your sticks and glue it together as seen above.

Step 8: Letter H

This one easy letter to make.

  • Prepare 3 sticks.
  • Measure one sticks about 3 inches and cut.
  • Put two sticks 3 inches apart and glue the smallest stick on the middle of edge sticks.

Step 9: Letter I

Do you need instructions for letter I?
Just one stick.

Step 10: Letter J

Letter J is like letter U but one vertical part is cut into half.

  • Prepare 3 sticks.
  • Cut along the corner of one stick at an angle.
  • Measure 3 inches and cut both ends at an angle.
  • Measure 3 inches and cut one end at an angle.

Step 11: Letter K

  • Prepare 3 sticks.
  • Take two sticks. Cut each end at an angle as seen above.
  • Glue it to the remaining stick.

Step 12: Letter L

  • You will need 2 sticks
  • Cut one stick for about 3 inches.
  • Glue it to the corner of the other sticks forming the letter L.

Step 13: Letter M

  • Prepare 4 sticks.
  • Glue each of them forming letter M.

Step 14: Letter N

  • Prepare 3 sticks.
  • For the diagonal stick, glue about 3/4 inches long as seen above.
  • Glue each stick forming letter N.

Step 15: Letter O

  • Prepare 4 sticks.
  • Cut the ends of the 2 sticks at an angle.
  • Measure 3 inches long for the remaining sticks and cut.
  • Glue one at a time forming letter O.

Step 16: Letter P

  • Prepare 4 sticks.
  • Set one aside.
  • Measure 3 inches and cut it at an angle. Make 2 sticks.
  • Measure 1 1/2 inches and cut.
  • Glue each to form letter P as seen above.

Step 17: Letter Q

Letter Q is like letter O with an extra 1 1/2 stick at the bottom.

You will need 5 sticks.

Step 18: Letter R

Letter R is similar to letter P with and extra 2 1/2 inches stick attache to it.

You will need 5 sticks.

Step 19: Letter S

You will need 5 sticks.

Prepare 2 sticks and measure 3 inches and cut it out. Make 2 pieces

Measure 2 sticks and cut 1 1/2 inches. Make 2 pieces

Measure 1/2 and inch, cut and make 2 pieces.

Glue each sticks making letter S as seen above.

Step 20: Letter T

You will need 2 sticks.

Set aside 1 stick and cut both ends at an angle.

Measure 3 inches and cut it out.

Glue the sticks together forming letter T.

Step 21: Letter U

Prepare 3 sticks.

Set aside 2 sticks and cut one for each stick.

Measure 3 inches and cut at an angle.

Glue all there sticks forming letter U as seen above.

Step 22: Letter V

Make letter V with two sticks. Glue one end form a letter V.

Step 23: Letter W

You will need 4 sticks.

Glue them together forming letter W as seen above.

Step 24: Letter X

Prepare two sticks.

Glue them together at the middle forming letter X.

Step 25: Letter Y

Prepare 2 sticks.

Cut one stick into halves at an angle. Glue to the other stick at the middle forming letter Y.

Step 26: Letter Z

Prepare 3 sticks.

Measure 3 inches and cut it out. Make 2 pieces.

Prepare the center sticks by cutting both ends at an angle.

Glue all sticks forming letter Z
