Introduction: Making a Collage on a Notebook
Since we are such in a difficult time, why not get ready for the school year ahead of you? With this notebook, you'll be ahead of the game with a beautiful colorful notebook.
Supplies
- Tape
- Newspapers/magazines
- Paper
- Cardboard (optional)
- Notebook
- Glue stick
Step 1: Putting on the Base
The first thing you want to do is grab your notebook (doesn't matter what size) with a blank piece of paper. You're going to slowly but steadily cut out the paper to the shape of your notebook. You want to end up with a glued piece of blank paper on your notebook.
Step 2: Choosing/Cutting Out Your Images
Next, you're going to want to grab the random magazines/newspapers you have around your house. Start looking through the magazines to see if anything catches your eye. Before you start cutting, you might want to think of some sort of theme that you're pointing towards.
Step 3: Assembling Your Images
Once you've cut out all the images that you're happy with, you want to start assembling the images so it starts to look more like a collage! It would be helpful to take a picture of your images beforehand to remember where they were before you start glueing them on. Don't be scared to experiment with different shapes and sizes!
Step 4: OPTIONAL Creating a Name-tag
If you like to go further with your notebook, cut out a small piece of cardboard and glue a smaller piece of paper to give it more of a modern effect.
Step 5: Laminate Your Notebook
You might want to consider to laminate your notebook so it doesn't become all wrinkly and old. Start off by grabbing some tape and add strips of tape along your notebook (vertically). This will allow the smaller pieces of paper not to become more wrinkled in the future.
Step 6: Volia! Behold Your Beautiful Notebook!
Congrats! Not only have you made a stunning notebook, but you're using it for a good cause. With this notebook you can use it for schoolwork and more!
ENJOY!
