Map-Head!

Make a customized and unique portrait!

Supplies

Map, large sheet of construction paper, glue, a teeny scissors and a pen.

Step 1: Outline Your Head to the Map

First, stick the map onto a wall, with scotch tape.

Put your head against the map, and have someone take a pencil/pen to outline your head's shape.

Step 2: We Can't Have a Head by Itself!

Cut the head out, and take a sheet of construction paper(any color you want, just have some contrast to the map color), that is slightly larger than the head. If needed, trim.

Glue the head to the background using a few dots of glue in strategic locations.

This is to prevent it from crinkling.

Step 3: Yay!

We now have a customized portrait, that is a pretty good decoration, and a pretty useful map!

(I use mine to navigate the subway, as mine is a subway map)
