Introduction: Mario Sunshine Functional FLUDD Water Gun
The water shooting FLUDD from Mario Sunshine is here! and Yes. It does shoot water. Luckily for you it is easy to make and should cost around $50.
Review Instructions before begining.
You will need:
Empty shampoo or medium sized bottle with a dispenser.
Small medium sized plastic fish bowl 78 inches of .75 inch thick PVC pipe. Can be bought in two foot lengths.
Ribbed toilet plunger
4x PVC two way connectors
1x three way PVC connector
4x empty water bottles
4x inch PVC cap
3x feet of Thin plastic tubing
1x Pump,spring and ball stopper from Shampoo or soap dispenser
8x feet of a blue Dog leash 1x Backpack clip Old or used thin plastic container
4x .75 inch corner braces
24x 5/8 inch steel bolts
4x .25 inch screws
1x 5 inch wide funnel
1x 5 inch diameter plastic ball. Hamster ball.
1x square foot of bedding foam 1x silver spray paint
1x yellow or warm yellow spray paint
1x Blue spray paint
1x Brown spray paint
Tools: Hot glue gun
Dremel tool or Power drill
Screw driver
Scissors
Sewing kit (Needle and blue thread)
Exacto knife
Hand saw
Step 1: The Bottom
Sizes:
Thin plastic Fish Bowl 8 inches wide. 6 inch mouth opening. 7 inch tall.
Ribbed toilet plunger after being cut 8.5 inches.
PVC pipe holding bottom half of pump 8.5 inches.
Thin plastic tube attached 15 inches.
Fish Bowl lid 6 inches in diameter.
Top plunger lid 4.25 in diameter. Center hole snug fitting with bottom half of soap dispenser pump. Refer to photo #34.
Bottom of plunger lid 3 inches in diameter. Center hole wide enough to fit around PVC pipe with corner braces. Photo #24
Corner braces are 3/4 of an inch.
Bolts 5/8 inches
Step 2: Arms
Details: Notice how the arms are glued at an angle to the three way PVC connecter. The hole at the bottom of the three way connecter has to fit the top half of the pump firmly.
1x yellow three way PVC connecter with sawed off perpendicular part.
2x 7 inch PVC silver
2x 15 inch PVC silver
2x 5 inch silver PVC
2x yellow two way connecters
2x silver two way connecters
2x brown foam handles to fit around 5 inch handles.
Step 3: Spout
Details: Notice how the PVC attached to the 4 inch cap is slightly tilted back.
The Nozzle is slightly tilted up.
1x 4 inch PVC cap. Drill one hole at its top an inch thick. Glue bottom half of water bottle cap into it. Drill four equally spaced holes around its bottom edge(Bolts). Match hole with corner brace size. Cut two inch wide rectangular holes equally spaced at its sides.
1x Hamspter ball. Cut its sides flat. Cut design out of plastic container. Hot glue.
1x Funnel 5 inch mouth opening.
1x 2 foot thin tube
2x bottle caps to attach funnel to ball. Ball to PVC. Hot glue each end to its respective part. Do not hot glue cap shut together.
1x 15 inch PVC
A marker shell can be used to make nozzle. Drill small hole into its end. Feed tube as far in as you can. Hot glue. Another cap can be used to sturdy nozzle.
Step 4: Spout + Top of Pump

Screw in bolts from outside. Attaching PVC cap to corner braces.
Step 6: Harness
Lengths vary on your size. Tighter is better.
1x strap circumference of fish bowl.
2x straps making an "X" underneath
1x strap up backside to meet the PVC cap.
2x horizontal strap attached to backside strap. Forms cradle around top PVC pipe.
2x Straps that can reach around your arms and meet the horizontal strap going around the bowl.
1x Back pack strap to hold gun tight to your back.
