Save Your Bacon with this Mason Jar Piggy Bank

Supplies

Mason Jar, 4 rubber stoppers, strip of copper, spray paint, 2 cut tin ears.

Step 1: Cut Slots in the Jar Lid for the Nose

These slots will be where you insert your pennies. I used a dremel with a cut-off disc.

Step 2: Paint Jar and Lid

I used light pink matte spray paint for the jar (body) and a darker pink for the lid (nose).

Step 3: Make Hooves

Cut a notch out of each rubber stopper with an exacto knife.

Step 4: Putting It All Together. Glue Hooves (trotters) on Bottom of the Jar.

Step 5: Glue Tail and Ears to Body.

I used a two part epoxy, but any basic glue would do.

Step 6: Start Saving!
