Introduction: Modifications to a Spray Bottle That Will Make Your Life 20 Times Better
You finish your laps and are out of breath. While everybody else is panting and getting in line for the water fountain, you walk over to the bench and push a few buttons on your modified spray bottle. In a few seconds a fan is spinning and the spray bottle is spraying a cold refreshing mist. After a few minutes of basking in the cold refreshing air, a line starts to form behind you. "$0.25 per minute," you announce. You go home rich.
Step 1: Materials
You will need:
2 paper plates
2 syringes without needles
1 vinyl flex hollow wire
3 LED finger lights
Lots of popsicle sticks
Step 2: Make Your Blade
Cut your paper plate into a circle about 6 inches long. Cut it into sixths with cuts about one half the radius of the circle and then cut off every other piece. Cut and arrange the popsicle sticks as shown above. Hot glue works well.
Step 3: Attach It to the Motor
Cut a small hole in the center of the disc. Push the end of the motor trough the hole and apply hot glue.
Step 4: Attach It to the Bottle
Glue the motor pointing upward to the top of the spray bottle. Next glue the spray bottle to a plate. You should still be able to remove the top and refill the bottle.
Step 5: Set Up the Syringes
Take one syringe and push the end all the way in. Fill the other with water and pull it out. You will also need to fill the wire with water. Push the end the of each syringe into the ends of the wire. When you push the end of the syringe in, the end of the other syringe should come out.
Step 6: Attach the Syringe
Using the Popsicle Sticks and some glue, secure the syringe pointing at the handle of the spray bottle. When one end of the syringe is pushed in, the other syringe should push the handle and the spray bottle should spray some nice refreshing mist.
Step 7: Add the Lights
