Introduction: More Range on Your Turret Gun!

Yesterday, I was just shootin' around and then thought of this idea

Why not get a couple of yards on your range for your turret gun? Here's a quick and simple fix. 
1)Get any round. 
2)Put a the tiny gear on.
3)Load.
4)Fire!

    Any turreted gun powerful enough to care about would shoot the oodammo out of the gear.

    Add more mass to make it go farther with the same force. Makes sense.
