Introduction: Mouse Catches Cat, Cat House


oblong rectangle box for the "Cheese" size 16"x20"x14" inches

This 24"x3" inches box for mouse head and feet

small sheet of this cardboard

Scissors

Utility knife

Hot glue gun and glue

Grey water based paint

yellow water based

paint black water based paint

Step 1: Step 1: Block of Cheese

Glue the large oblong box flaps closed. This will become a large block of cheese cat house

Step 2: Step 2: Making the Head

Step 2: Head

thin box 24" x 3"

fold in half

cut box, rounding the 4 corners

leave folded in half

Glue to the top back edge of the larger box (cheese)

Step 3: Step 3: the Ears

Step 3: Ears

Cut two 8 1/2" circles slip about 1" top beside fold of head. Glue to the top layer

Step 4: Step 4: Nose

Cut one 5" circle.

Cut slit from edge to center

Fold and shape into a cone

Hot glue to the face

Step 5: Step 5: Feet

Cut eight 2" circles, six will be used for toes

glue three side by side, overlapping slightly, do this twice

glue to bottom of head on each side

Step 6: Step 6: Eyes

these are made with the remaining two 2" circles.

Step 7: Step 7: Cat Door

Cut out a door for the cat in the front

Step 8: Step 8: Wiskers

Apply the final touches.

Paint the larger main box yellow, with black circles to give appearance of a block of cheese.

Paint the mouse head gray.

Paint inside of ears pink, with thin black lines

Paint the eyes black

Wiskers are optional, I used this strips of cardbaord to make them. Then glue in place.
