Introduction: One Piece Cardboard Chair
This chair was made using only one 170x100cm piece of cardboard. For the prototype I used 6mm of cardboard and it could bear my weight. I recommend use a thicker piece of cardboard, use it as a children seat or another material (plywood).

I wish I could understand those diagrams. But it looks great and it would be a good way to make inexpensive chairs for children. Then they could have fun decorating the chairs themselves with paint or markers.

Hi! Sorry to hear you didn't understand, maybe I can improve them somehow? So please let me know what is unclear...! Thanks!

Oh no, there is nothing wrong with your diagrams. It's me. It's hard to explain.... The only way to make it clear for me is to show me all the steps, with an actual piece of cardboard, right in front of me so I can follow along. But I can probably learn from the diagrams, if I really try. I might destroy a few pieces of cardboard and use up all the bandages in the first aid kit before I'm done, but I can do it.

Wish it could fold up without disassembly. Pretty neat that it's from one large piece of cardboard. Would be also great if you took a packing box and reused it for the design.

Yeah my first idea was to make some kind of origami design, but I couldn't figure it out, maybe next time ;) Thanks for the comment!
