Introduction: One Pot Creamy Lemon Chicken Pasta
Nowadays, families are looking for fun, yet delicious meals for the whole family to enjoy. A goal for families is to find a meal with the least amount of dishes to wash possible and having the family still enjoy the meal. This meal requires less than 15 ingredients and are all ingredients that are probably in your house currently.
Ingredients like Chicken, which is a food that you can do anything with. Chicken Nuggets, Chicken Casserole, General Tso´s Chicken, and Grilled Chicken Sliders are a few of the possible dishes that Chicken can be used for. Pasta is another food that is included, this dish is very pasta friendly since you can use any pasta. Some include Rotini, Penne, Spaghetti, Rigatoni, Macaroni, Farfalle, and many others. This also has other ingredients like Onion, Garlic, Lemon, Milk, and different seasonings.

Step 1: Preparing the Ingredients and Supplies
Ingredients:
3 Chicken Breasts cut up in cubes
A box of your favorite type of pasta. We used Barilla protein+ Spaghetti Since this meal isn’t very nutritious
1 Lemon, squeezed
2 minced garlic cloves
1 minced onion
Sauce:
2 cup of milk
4 tablespoons of flour
1/4 cup of parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons of salted butter, cut in half into 2 sets of 1 tablespoon
Seasonings:
1 tablespoon of parsley
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 teaspoon of onion powder
1 teaspoon of pepper
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of chili powder
Supplies:
Colander
Pot
Knife
Garlic Mincer
Grater
Cooking Spoon
Step 2: Prepping for the Chicken
Before cooking the Chicken, we have to make the pasta. This is fairly easy. What you do is cook the whole box and follow the directions on the box. While the pasta is in the colander and draining, lower the heat on your stove and place the pan back on it. Put one tablespoon of butter in the pot. Once butter is melted, mince 1 onion and place that in that pot for 3 minutes. Next, cut 3 chickens in squares and place that in the pot, put a lid on the pot, and cook for 10 minutes and stir half way.
Step 3: Making the Sauce
Once the chicken is done cooking, take off the heat for a few minutes to cool down the pan. While cooling, check that the chicken is cooked, if not, put back on the heat. To start the sauce, add the rest of the butter and milk, stir, and then add the flour and stir. After that, add the pasta and cheese. Put the pot back on the stove and add the minced garlic. Stir until the cheese is melted.
Step 4: Seasoning and Serving
To Finnish off the dish, add the Lemon Juice, Chili Powder, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Salt, and Pepper. Then stir. Add the parsley. This can be either dried or fresh cut. Serve the dish with Foccacia or Ciabatta bread.
