Introduction: Origami Stars in Glass Bottle Decor Piece

Easy to make and very cute.

Step 1: Collect Your Things

You'll need a glass bottle or a glass jar, color paints, paintbrush, chart papers (white or you can also use colored chart papers) and scissors.

Step 2: To Make the Paper Stars

Take your paper and cut it into small strips, about 10 cm in length and 7 mm in breadth.

Step 3: To Make the Paper Stars

  • Twist the strip of paper as in the picture
  • Form a knot
  • Tighten and flatten it
  • Fold the extended end as in the picture
  • Keep folding until there is a little of the paper left
  • Now tuck it inside and you will get a pentagon shape
  • Gently push at one side as in the picture
  • Keep pushing in all the sides and there, you got your star

Step 4: Painting

Make as many stars as you want and paint them in the colors you like. Or if you use colored chart paper to make the stars, you don't need to paint them. I made the stars in white because I didn't get the colored paper in the colors I want. So I made them in white and I've painted in the colors of the rainbow: Violet, Indigo, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange and Red

Step 5: The Stars Are Ready!

Here are my stars. :) All finished.

Step 6: Fill in the Bottle

Take your glass glass bottle or glass jar (if you are using one) and start filling in the stars. I've put red in the bottle, followed by orange and so on.

Step 7: Complete!! :)

Here's my stars in the bottle. Isn't that just cute?? You can give to your friends as a gift or use it as a decor piece. :) or any other way you want. Thanks for viewing!! Bye..
