Introduction: Original Chocolate Cream Sandwich

Hello At a store a little while ago I saw Oreos and thought that I should try making them. I think they actually turned out very good, hope you like them.

Supplies

1. 1 cup softened butter

2. 1 cup sugar

3. 2 teaspoons salt

4. 2 eggs

5. 2 cups all purpose flour

6. 1 1/4 cups coco powder

7. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Cream

1. 2 cups powdered sugar

2. 1/2 cup butter

3. 1 teaspoon vanilla

Step 1: Sugar and Butter

Beat your butter and sugar together until fluffy. Next, add In egg and beat until fluffy

Step 2: Cocoa Powder Flour and Baking Soda

Next add your flour cocoa powder and baking soda. Then beat and knead until fully incorporated.

Step 3: Fridge

Chill in the fridge for 1 hour after forming into a square covering with plastic wrap.

Step 4: Making the Cookies

Roll out the chilled dough with a rolling pin and use a champagne glass to cut into circular cookies. Start preheating the oven to 325°.

Step 5: Baking the Cookies

Grease your baking sheet put your cookies on, and insert into oven for 15 minutes.

Step 6: The Filling

Add in your butter powdered sugar and vanilla and beat ( This will take a while. ) until creamy and smooth, put your finger in it a small piece if there is any chunks of powdered sugar keep beating.

Step 7: Cooling Your Cookies

Put your baked cookies onto a wire cooling rack.

Step 8: Finishing Your Oreos

Put a generous amount of Filling onto one cookie put another cookie on top and use a knife to scrape any excess filling off of the side.

Step 9: Enjoy!

Dip your Oreos in a glass of milk, and enjoy!
