Introduction: Paint a Bulbasaur Rock

About: Hello. I like video games and guitars and that type of stuff. Thanks for checking my profile.

Bulbasaurs are super cool. Rocks are also pretty cool. We can use paint to combine these two things with a limited budget. To paint a Bulbasaur rock, you will need multiple things in preparation. First of all, you will need paint. Specifically, you will need the colors green (preferably two different shades), white for the eyes, red for the pupils, and black for more details. Additionally, you will need to find a good rock that is around the size of a Bulbasaur rock, you can find these in nature or you may be able to buy one from a store but I would recommend the nature option because it is cheaper and makes a more unique product.

Supplies

A Rock

Paints:

  • Light Green
  • Dark Green
  • Black
  • White
  • Red

Step 1: Step 1: Paint the Rock Green

The first thing you should do with the rock is cover it in a light green color. The exact shade of this color is not important because of the many different shades of Bulbasaurs throughout different games and cards. This green color should envelope the entire rock and be the lighter of the two shades of green that you will use.

Step 2: Step 2: Add the Face

After the rock is completely green, you will then need to trace two spots in white. These are for the eyes and should be traced like a Bulbasaur's eyes would be. Once that is done, take a black paint and trace a mouth with two nostrils for a nose.

Step 3: Step 3: Add Final Details

Now that you have painted the majority of the rock, it is time to add detail. First of all, you will need to add red to the eyes of the Bulbasaur. Additionally, you must add another shade of green to show the darker colored spots seen on Bulbasaurs. Once this is done, your Bulbasaur Rock is complete!!!
