We made these stir-fried mushroom soy skin wraps, and in this Instructable, we'll be sharing them with you all! These soy skin wraps are quick and easy for everyone to make, alongside being delicious and fully customizable.

Supplies

  • Fresh frozen soy skin (available in most Asian grocery stores)
  • A variety of mushrooms (Feel free to experiment with other fillings!)
  • Avocado oil (Avocado oil holds up well in high heat, making it perfect for stir-fry)
  • soy sauce
  • oyster sauce

Step 1: Slice Mushrooms

Wash and chop mushrooms into slices/strips.

Step 2: Fry Mushrooms

Heat the pan. Pour some avocado oil on. Put the mushrooms into the pan. Add soy sauce and oyster sauce. Stir fry for about 2 minutes until the mushrooms are cooked.

Step 3: Marinate Soy Skin

Drain out the soup from the mixture into the pan. Marinate the soy skin in the mixture in the pan for at least 15 minutes.

Step 4: Start Wrapping!

Take out one or two layers of soy skin. (Tip: you can adjust the number of layers of soy skin to your own taste.) Lay on the tray. Scoop some mushrooms (see image for proportions) to the middle of the piece along the diagonal line as shown.

Step 5: Fold in Soy Skin

Fold three corners to the center.

Step 6: Roll Up Wrap

Roll up the wrap.

Step 7: Fry Wraps

Spray avocado oil into the pan evenly. Lay all the wraps into the pan. Try not to let them touch each other, because they will stick to each other.

Pan fry till golden, flip, and fry to golden as well.

Step 8: Serve and Enjoy!

Serve while still warm!
