Introduction: Paper Corner Bookmarks

Need an easy, quick bookmark to get rid of notorious dog-earing? Then this is the instructable for you. This little project is cute and fun , and perfect for watching over your page number. I give credit to "advaym" and their instructable "Cute Corner Bookmarks!".

Step 1: Materials

Today, for this project, you will need a pair of scissors, a stick of glue, a marker, a ruler, and any assortment of colors of paper you might use. The main color that I am going to use is red.

Step 2: Measuring

Take your main piece of paper and measure it's width with your ruler. Measure that same length on your length side of the paper and mark it at that spot. Cut evenly across the paper where you marked it. Your paper should then be a perfect square.

Step 3: The First Fold

Fold the paper in half one way , then in the other. By the end, you should have a "t" in the middle of your paper.

Step 4: More Folds and Cuts

First, cut one of the little squares out that were made when you folded your paper the last time. In the two squares beside the one you cut out, take the main corners, and fold them inward to the middle point of the paper. Cut on the creases that were created, and it should give you something like a fox with its ears sticking up.

Step 5: Finish It Off

Fold one of the "fox ears" on the existing crease and spread glue on top of it. Fold the other ear on top of that and stick them together. The little "mouth" that was made here is where the corner of the page will go. All you need now is some details. I made some eyes, a horn, some teeth, and fire breath to make mine a dragon. I can't tell you what to do here since you can make anything you want!

Step 6: Hope You Enjoyed!!!

Make your comments. Post what you made. I'd love to see them!
