Introduction: Paper Cranes

About: i am 13 and i live in Australia. i live with my mum, step dad and sister and visit my dad every fortnight.
Seen paper cranes everywhere and think, "oh... so pretty... but much too hard to make."
well I am here to tell you that paper cranes are actually SO easy to make. And here's how:

Step 1: Step 1

Fold a piece of SQUARE paper in half so it makes a triangle shape. Unfold and do the same on the other corner.

Unfold again, fold the paper in half so it makes a rectangle, unfold and do the same for the other side.

Step 2: Step 2

This step is kind of confusing...

While the paper is folded in a rectangle, hold it in the corners so the open side is facing up. Push the two corners together to make a cross shape. Fold it down so it makes a square.

Step 3: Step 3

Make sure that the opening side is facing toward you.

Fold the corner parts in so the meet the middle line. See picture for reference.

There should be a small triangle at the top. Fold that triangle back and forward to create a crease.

Step 4: Step 4

Open up the two flaps on one side and open the triangle. fold the sides in so they meet the middle crease. Do this for both sides.

Step 5: Step 5

There should be a pair of 'legs' on one end. On that end, fold in the sides on both sides.

Step 6: Step 6

Open up the side and push the bottom up. Do this for both sides. fold down the wings and the face and you are done!

Step 7: Thankyou!
