Introduction: Paper Heart Garland
Step 1: Materials
Card stock paper (any colors)
Scissors
Stapler
Pencil
Ruler
Step 2: Cutting Strips
(Optional: you can skip this and just cut without the lines) With a ruler line it up with the bottom of the paper and make a mark every inch. Do this again on the other side but make sure that the inches are lined up so on the other side the numbers on the inch side will be upside down. Then with the ruler draw a strait line from on mark to the other. Cut along these lines to make the strips of paper for the hearts (but don't cut out the extra 1/2 inch)
With the other piece of paper do this as well or just use one if the other strips as a guideline and cut along it.
Step 3: Making the Hearts
First fold one color strip in half and make a heart (like in the pictures) and slide the folded end of another color in between the ends of the heart and staple them. Repeat this until you've used all of your paper or it's the length you want.
Step 4: Done!
Walla! A simple, easy decoration that's fun to put anywhere!
