In this instructable I will explain how to make a cheap and funny little toy.

For this you will need:
-a SHORT pencil
-a danish coin (5 KRONER preferably)
-a pencil sharpener
-super glue

Step 1: Assembling It

First you want to sharpen your pencil and then you need to insert the coin through the pointy side of the pencil.
Note:make sure that the pencil isn't to heavy. To test this you want to be sure that when you try putting the assembly downthe top part of the pencil stays elevated. A good length for the pencil would be 7 cm.

Step 2: Gluing It

To make sure that the assembly stays together super glue the coin to the pencil. When you do this make sure that the coin is perpendicular to the pencil or else the top will not function correctly.
Let the assembly dry for 5 minutes.

Step 3: Try It Out!

To try your new spinning top find a hard flat surface and lay a white sheet of paper on it. Take your top and spin it as fast as possible.
If you want to make cool drawings with it you can move the sheet of paper around to obtain funny lines and circles.
