Introduction: Pinwheel Flower

Pinwheel flowers are so fun to make. Let me show you how.

Step 1: Cut Out Your Paper

I used 2 pieces 1.5 x 12. If you have decorative scissors cut across the edge to spice it up.

Step 2: Fold the Paper

I have a Martha Stewart cutting board. I scored my paper at every peak and valley on the design.

A cutting board is not mandatory - fold the paper free hand works just as well.

Step 3: Fold the Paper

Now that you have the paper scored..get to folding. Fold the paper back and forth like an accordian.

Step 4: Glue

Glue the edge together.

I used 450 Glue, but anything is wonderful.

Glue the other ends together to form a circle..kinda.

Step 5: Flower Time

Get a slick piece of material..

I like to use some help. I push together my flower and attach some clips to help hold in place. The center of the flower likes to pop up.

Place a dob of hot glue on your slick paper.

Place your flower on top of the glue, push together and hold for a few minutes.

Step 6: Embellish

You made a Pinwheel flower!

Now lets embellish it. Cut a flower and glue to the center, and or ad a button. It's all up to you!

Happy Making!
