Introduction: Pizza Pockets
This is how to make Pizza pockets that taste better than the ones you can buy.
Step 1: Ingredients
You need:
A can of crescent dough. (It's fun and tasty to experiment with different flavors!)
A can of Pizza sauce.
A bag of Pizza cheese.
Toppings such as a bag of mini pepperonis.
A nonstick pan or a regular pan and cooking spray.
Step 2: Roll Out Dough
Lay out the crescent dough as normal.
Step 3: Add a Dab of Sauce
LESS SAUCE IS BETTER!
You will have a mess if you add too much sauce, you should be able to see the dough through the sauce.
Step 4: Sprinkle Cheese
Again, less is more.
Step 5: Add Toppings
Don't add too many, but don't hesitate to experiment.
Step 6: Roll Them Up!
Roll the crescents up like you normally would but tuck in the ends.
Step 7: Repeat
Repeat making more Pizza pockets, here are some photos of another way to roll them up.
Step 8: Continue Making Them.
Here are more photos to show you how to roll them up.
Step 9: A Few More Examples.
Really you can roll them any how you want as long as you get them mostly covered.
Step 10: Bake Them.
All ingredients except for the dough are precooked, so you only have to follow the instructions on the dough packaging. Since the dough does get stretched out, I suggest checking them early and not waiting for the maximum time.
Step 11: ENJOY!!!
I used a flavored crescent roll dough, and these really are better than anything I ever bought!

My favorite part is picking different crust flavors like with Pizza Hut's new crust flavors, that's where I got the idea to use different flavored crescents.

Did you notice I used Honey Butter crescent rolls? These can be made with different flavored dough, but if you want a more authentic pizza taste then try my Mini Pizzas.
