Have a lot of empty water bottles and two-liter soda bottles? Repurpose them into this awesome bench!

Step 1: Collect All Necessary Tools and Materials

48 - Water Bottles
6 - 2 Liter Soda Bottles
Several Cardboard Boxes (Minimum - 36" In Length)
Textured Paper of Your Liking (Should Be Somewhat Water Resistant)
Transparent Film Paper
Gorilla Tape
Duck Tape
Scissors
Pen
Pencil
Glue Stick
Snap Blade

Step 2: Remove the Plastic Labels From All the Bottles and Clean All the Bottles

You need to remove the plastic labels, as you will be gluing the bottles together.
Washing the bottles will ensure that your components are sanitary.

Step 3: Hot Glue Water Bottles Together in Groups of Four

When you apply the hot glue to the bottles, put the hot glue on the lines of the bottle as pointed out by the mechanical pencil in the second image. This will ensure that your bottles align evenly.

Step 4: Use Gorilla Tape to Further Bind the Groups of Four Bottles Together

Step 5: Hot Glue the Groups of Four Water Bottles Together

The bottles should be organized in four columns and 11 rows.

Step 6: 2 Liter Soda Bottles Should Be Paired, Hot Glued, and Gorilla Taped

Note: The water bottle groupings of four should be hot glued together and gorilla taped once more.

Step 7: Cut Cardboard Boxes to the Dimensions of Water Bottle Grouping

Once you have cut cardboard to create a rectangle around the water bottles, hot glue the tops of the water bottle caps and press the cardboard onto the water bottle caps.
Hot glue the sides of the water bottle to the walls of your cardboard. Also, use hot glue to fuse the cardboard pieces together.
Your cardboard will have uneven edges. Use the snap blade to remove excess cardboard.

Step 8: Wrap the 2 Liter Soda Bottle Pairs in the Paper of Your Liking

The 3 - 2-liter soda bottle groupings will be used as the legs of the bench.

Wrap the rest of the bench in the same paper. However, ensure there are slits in the paper so that the soda bottle base and top as displayed in this image can be hot glued to the actual cardboard itself.

Step 9: Place a Transparent Film on the Sides of the Bench

You don't have to use a transparent film for the sides if you don't want to, but it's cool to be able to see that the bench is made of plastic bottles.
