Hello my name is Noah Allen and this is my first intstructables project that I will be submitting. This idea of making pumpkin flavored cat treats came from me loving the fall and hoping that my two cats at home will like the treats that I prepare for them. I will be explaining each step from the beginning to the end and seeing if my cats will enjoy the treats or not. I thought this would be a fun idea for me and for my cats as well.

Supplies

2 cups flour
1/2 cup uncooked oatmeal
1 cup canned pumpkin
1 cup grated carrots
1/2 cup unsweetened plain applesauce
1/4 cup of extra flour for rolling

Step 1: Puree All the Wet Ingredients

Mix the carrots, applesauce, and canned pumpkin all in your food processor until the wet ingredients are fully infused together to make a smooth paste. Process your wet ingredients for about a minute and you are done with your first step.

Step 2: Add Wet Ingredients to Dry Ingredients

Mix your wet ingredients by hand into the flour and uncooked oats. The ingredients will slowly turn into dough and add some more flour little by little to get the dough nice and firm without very little stickiness.

Step 3: Into the Oven

Cut the dough into very small inches, about 1/2 and inch and place on a nonstick pan. Set the oven to 350 degrees for 7 minutes, flipping them over for another 5 minutes until fully baked.

Step 4: Reaction

When I gave the treats to my cats they wanted no deal with it and walked away from the treats. I somehow knew he wouldn't like it because they are very picky and it would surprise me if they did like it. It was a fun idea and a great experiment making something for the cats to eat and it was pretty fun to make.
