The puzzle also exists in other sizes, in particular, the smaller puzzle with an eight. If the size is 3 × 3 tiles, the puzzle is called a puzzle of 8 or 9, and if the tiles are 4 × 4, the puzzle is called a puzzle of 15 or 16, respectively, for the number of tiles. and the number of spaces. The goal of the puzzle is to arrange the tiles in order by performing sliding movements that use empty space.

Step 1:
