Introduction: Race Car Kit(moving)
so this is something you print and put it together yourself! So the story behind it is that my teacher challenged us to make something so I made this car, but our teacher wanted me to take it one step further and make the car move. so I came up with the idea to make a race car kit. all you need is some type of glue. I used hot glue but I guess super glue would work too. (moving)
Step 1: Making the Frame
the first thing I did was to build the mainframe, so I took a cube and rounded it using the radius and then I used a hollow cube to cut into the frame by highlighting it and then merging the shapes to cut into it. To make the seat I also used a paraboloid to make the air intake and the rear of the vehicle
Step 2: Makin
so to make the point of the car I used a paraboloid figure and stretched it, I also made a paraboloid to make the bottom part of the nose I made this by squishing the paraboloid and stretching it, to make the fins at the front use wedges and stretch it out and then make little wedges to stick it on either side of the wedge
Step 3: Making the Axles and the Wheels
so to make the axles I used a cylinder and made them small to be the axles I did ctrl-c then ctrl-v to make 8 copies of the axle I made the extra 2 axles hollow and made them a bit bigger to make holes in the opposite sides of the vehicle to make a hole in them (that's where the axles go) and then I made the wheels using 8 cylinders by putting 4 big ones and 4 small ones, I made the small ones grey and the big ones black. the small ones go into the big ones to make rims, now we have 2 extra axles and we turn those hollow too we then duplicate those axles. then stick the axles into the wheels and highlight and merge them so they cut into it, now u have axles that can now go into the wheels!
Step 4: Making the Spoiler
so to make the axles I used a cylinder and made them small to be the axles I did ctrl-c then ctrl-v to make 8 copies of the axle I made the extra 2 axles hollow and made them a bit bigger to make holes in the opposite sides of the vehicle to make a hole in them (that's where the axles go) and then I made the wheels using 8 cylinders by putting 4 big ones and 4 small ones, I made the small ones grey and the big ones black. the small ones go into the big ones to make rims, now we have 2 extra axles and we turn those hollow too we then duplicate those axles. then stick the axles into the wheels and highlight and merge them so they cut into it, now u have axles that can now go into the wheels!
