Rainbow Gradient Jar Cap

Just a simple decoration for those boring old jars lying around your house! This technique is often used on nails, but if you can't exactly flaunt brightly colored nail polish at work, you can put your neons to use on these jars.

Step 1: Supplies

You will need a jar with a white cap, rainbow nail polish, tape, and a makeup sponge.

Step 2: Step 1

Tape the shape you want your rainbow to be in. (I did a small square, but you can make your design larger.)

Step 3: Step 2

Paint your sponge with the rainbow nail polishes.

Step 4: Step 3

Stamp the sponge onto the area you want your design on.

Step 5: Step 4

Repeat steps 2 & 3 until you reach the desired opaqueness.

Step 6: Step 5

Peel off the tape, and you're done!

Step 7: Step 6 (optional)

You can add designs, rather than keep it plain.
