Introduction: Rainbow Loom Ice Cream Sundae

Make your very own very easy ice cream sundae in just a few minutes!! This creation also includes a cherry on the top. If you are interested, read on!!

Step 1: Gather Your Supplies

For this project, you will need one loom, a hook, and several bands. I used 3 red, 10 light glittery pink, 9 pink, and 26 blue. You DO NOT have to use the same color bands that I did. Be creative and don't forget to have fun!!

Step 2: Placing the Bands

First of all, make sure that your loom is in the staggered configuration. Take two red bands and place them on first middle pin to the second pin in the middle.

Step 3: Placing the Bands (cont.)

Take out six light glittery pink bands and place two on the second pin in the middle to the second pin on the left. Place another two bands on the second pin in the middle to the third pin in the middle. Take two bands and place them on the second pin in the middle to the second pin on the right.

Step 4: Placing the Bands (cont.)

Take out four light glittery pink bands and place two on the second pin on the right to the third pin on the right. Take another two and place them on the second pin on the left to the third pin on the left.

Step 5: Placing the Bands (cont.)

Take out eight pink bands and place two on the third pin on the left to the fourth pin on the left. Place another two on the third pin in the middle to the fourth pin in the middle. Using two bands, place them on the fourth pin in the middle to the fifth pin in the middle. Using the remaining two bands, place them on the third pin on the right to the fourth pin on the right.

Step 6: Placing the Bands (cont.)

Take four blue bands and place two on the fourth pin on the left to the fifth pin on the left. Place the other two on the fourth pin on the right to the fifth pin on the right.

Step 7: Placing the Bands (cont.)

Take out six blue bands and place two on the fifth pin on the left to the sixth pin in the middle. Place another two on the fifth pin in the middle to the sixth pin in the middle. Place two more on the fifth pin on the right to the sixth pin in the middle.

Step 8: Placing the Bands (cont.)

Take out six blue bands and place two on the sixth pin in the middle to the seventh pin in the middle. Take another two and place them on the seventh pin in the middle to the eighth pin on the left. Using two more bands, place them on the seventh pin in the middle to the eighth pin on the right.

Step 9: Placing the Bands (cont.)

On the pin that you just placed your last bands, put a cap band on both of them. Using one blue band, wrap your band three times and place it on that pin on both sides.

Step 10: Placing the Bands (cont.)

Take out your hook and one blue band. Wrap the blue band around the hook three times, creating three rings or loops.

Step 11: Placing the Bands (cont.)

Take two blue bands and place those on your hook. Then push the band that we wrapped around three times towards the end of the hook. Then place both ends on the hook.

Step 12: Placing the Bands (cont.)

Place what you just made on your hook, on the fourth pin on the left. Then make another one and place it on the fourth pin on the right.

Step 13: Placing the Bands (cont.)

Take two blue bands and one pink band and place the pink one in a triangle form starting on the third pins down. Take one blue band and place it in triangle form below the pink one. Take the last blue band and place it in a triangle form below the blue triangle.

Step 14: Looming the Bands

Take your hook and reach under the cap band on the left and grab the bottom two bands and loop it upon its self. Do the same thing for the cap band on the right. Then reach above that center pin and grab the bottom two and loop it on the pin above itself.

Step 15: Looming the Bands (cont.)

Reach for the top two bands and place it upon itself. Do this for the other bands, taking two bands at a time.

Step 16: Looming the Bands (cont.)

Then just keep on looming forward until you can't anymore. This is like a single chain bracelet.

Step 17: Looming the Bands (cont.)

Then, loop the second pin on the left to the second pin in the middle. Loop the second pin on the right to the second pin in the middle.

Step 18: Looming the Bands (cont.)

Reach for the very bottom two red bands and loop those forward.

Step 19: Looming the Bands (cont.)

Take a knot using your last red band. If you don't know how to do this, just secure this with a c-clip or a s-clip. Then you can pull your creation off the loom. If the ice cream sundae looks squished, stretch it out until it looks right. You are done!!! Congratulations!!!
