Rainbow Rain Wax Art

In this instructable I will show you how I made rainbow rain on a silhouette using colored wax

Step 1: What I Used ...

Here is what's needed for this art project:

1. Bunch of wax crayons, different colors.
2. X-acto knife
3. Paper
4. Glue Stick
5. Blow dryer
6. Paint tape

Step 2: Cut the Crayons

First cut the crayons in half vertically then cut them in half again horizontally.

This will help the crayons stick easily to the paper.

Step 3: Draw the Silhouette

Now draw a black silhouette of a man holding an umbrella in the middle of the page.

Use the glue stick to glue the crayon on top of the page right above the silhouette.

Use the paint tape to cover the silhouette.

Then trim the tape to the shape of the umbrella using an X-acto knife.

Step 4:

Put the picture upright, crayons on top.

And using the blow dryer on high hot setting, melt the crayons over the silhouette.

Step 5: End Result

Take off the paint tape and enjoy the art work.
