Introduction: Real Life Angry Birds

I made a real life angry birds game.
The video of this project:

The materials you need:
  • Fimo
  • Acrylic colors
  • Polystyrene balls
  • Wood sticks
  • A piece of wood that looks like slingshot
  • Rubber band
  • Piece of paper
  • Super glue
  • Sellotape
The tools you need:
  • Knife
  • Paintbrush

Step 1: Model the Birds

Use the fimo to model the birds.
I made 4 types of birds: Red(The normal bird), Black(The bomb), Blue(The tiny bird) and the Yellow(The "pyramid" bird).
Model the red bird: just make a ball from the fimo.
Black bird: make it little bit bigger than the red one.
Blue bird: make it little bit smaller than the red bird.
Yellow bird: model a pyramid from the fimo.

Step 2: Harden the Birds

Put the birds in your oven to 30 minutes in temperature of 1100C.

Step 3: Paint the Birds

First, make 2 layers of color.
Second, make a circle of light color in the bottom of each bird.
And third, paint the eyes, the beak and the plumes.

Step 4: Make the Slingshot

First, find a wood that looks like slingshot.
Then cut some leftovers of wood.
After that, connect a rubber band, as shown in the picture and tape it.
Finally, tape a piece of paper to the rubber band.

Step 5: Make the Pigs

Paint pigs on the polystyrene balls.
To make a king pig, model a crown from the fimo:
  • Make a small ball
  • Transform it into a cylinder
  • Cut the cylinder for fourths but only to the half of the height
  • Take the pieces out from the middle and make it look like a crown
Now, use super glue to stick the crown to the head of a pig.

Step 6: Play It!

Take the wood sticks and build a building. Put pigs inside the building and take the birds you need.
Shot the birds from the slingshot and start playing. Enjoy!
