Introduction: Bloody Mary Tomatoes With Roasted Almonds

Inject these plump cherry tomatoes with a Bloody Mary cocktail. Bite into them and you'll fill  your mouth with a burst of boozy juices. 

Heres a recipe, adjust to your taste:

1 oz  Vodka of your choice
2.5 oz tomato juice
2 red hot sauce
1 dash Worcestershire sauce
1 pinch salt
1 pinch peppers

Keep them cool in an ice glass like in the photo

Step 1: Roasted Salted Almonds


Roasted Salted Almonds: 
You basically need a handful of  unsalted almonds (with skin)
Lots of salt
Some olive oil (good quality)
You can add any sort of variety you like:  raisins, popcorn, chocolate, smoked paprika, cinnamon &sugar powdered.. whatever mix you like.
and pot for boiling water


Step 2: First Step: Boil Almonds Until Skin Can Be Peeled Off

Boil almonds, (you might see a little brown in the water) test one to see if the the skin can be peeled off.  Usually takes about 5-15 minutes depending on the size of your pot, etc.

Peel them by pinching one side of the almond but becareful they are slipperly and fly high. (see image)


Step 3: Keep an Eye on Them Until They Get Golden

After draining the water and peeling the almonds  I put them back into the same pot as is  with a little bit of olive oil until they get a tinyyy bit of golden color, keep on eye on them the whole time at this point bc they can burn fast.

And keep adding salt as you move them around... don't be afraid to use a lot o salt, its  a key ingredient. If you like you can experiment with other herbs or just eating them plain are really good too.
