Introduction: Rubber Promise Bow Rings

About: I love instructables. I also have a cat.

These are easy and eco-friendly! Instead of throwing out old, unused or deflated balloons, you can make them into cute, little rings! All you need is a pair of scissors, a balloon (mine is about the size of my palm, but I'm pretty sure you can use bigger ones) and optional but highly recommended: clear liquid gorilla glue and Q-tip or clear nail polish so it's more permanent.

You can make two rings out of one balloon!

Step 1: Cut It!

Stretch out the balloon as if you're about to blow it, then cut it in half symmetrically.

Step 2: Twist, Wrap and Tie!

Twist it to make it thin, wrap it around your finger, and tie a knot. (Remember that they're adjustable!) Repeat this step for other half of balloon.

Step 3: Coat It!

When you coat it with clear glue or nail polish (I used nail polish) so it keeps it's shape.  Take it off your finger and put it around something to hold it, like the top of a waterbottle or a thick marker. If you're using clear liquid glue, apply it on a Q-tip before coating. Then coat the knot part of the bow and let it dry.

Step 4: Enjoy!

Have fun with them! They look cute with a lot, trust me.
