Simple DIY Car Phone Holder

Make your own simple Phone Holder using things you might already have in your house.

Step 1: Parts and Tools

Parts

Solid core wire - any color (I used 2.5 mm²)

1 x Connector Block (optional)

Electrical tape

Tools

Scissors

Pliers

Step 2: Prepare the Basic Shape

Cut one piece that will be used for the horizontal part and connect it using the Connector Block. If you don't have a spare Connector Block just wrap the ends together.

The size depends on your phone, so once you have the horizontal part try to wrap it around your phone and adjust it if necessary.

Next cut a longer piece that will be used for the vertical part. Basically create a long U shaped wire that will be wrapped on the horizontal part and thus making it more sturdy.

Step 3: Finishing Touches

Now in order to make it look a bit better, cut a cross shaped piece of cloth and cover the middle square.

Then add some electrical tape on the ends of the vertical part to avoid having exposed wires that might scratch the plastics in your car.

Step 4: Final Product

Install the holder in your car and bend the vertical ends according to the type of your car air vents.
