Introduction: Simple Chicken With 3d Pen

These little chicken sculptures are made from a 3d pen! This simple project will teach you how to make a little chicken like this.

I will be posting more kinds of chickens so if you enjoy this you can do others!

let’s get started!

Supplies

For this project you will need three filament colors. Red, yellow, and any color for your chickens body. For that I am using black.

Step 1: Creating the Feet

Use your yellow filament to create to foot like shapes like this.

Step 2: Making the Legs

make the legs by slowly layering the feet. Do not layer the toes.

Step 3: Making the Base

Make an oval like shape and fill it in using your main filament. Now repeat twice but each time you do it make it a bit smaller.

Step 4: Layering

Flip it over and start printing around the edges. When you have done it about three or four times stop.

Step 5: Forming the Tail

Do the same step once but each time go a little outward near one side. When you have finished that start going inward towards the gap in the center of the body

Step 6: Making the Head

Fill the gap and start making the head by making circles on the other side of the tail. Start doing more circles until you think it is a good size.

Step 7: Gluing the Feet

Attach the feet to the bottom of your chicken.

Step 8: Making the Comb and Waddle

Switch to red filament. Do two red lines on the top of the head. Then make a small heart shape on the side of the head.

Step 9: Making the Beak and Eyes

make a bit yellow near the waddle. Shape it into a beak. Next dot the sides of the chicken with yellow filament. Those are the eyes

Step 10: Making a Base

Make a circle of any color and fill it in. Then attach your chicken onto it

Step 11: Finished

You have completed your chicken! I hope you enjoyed making it!
