Single Cover Coasters

Get ready to make musical mayhem with coasters inspired by covers of your favorite singles (songs)!

Step 1: Grab Your Materials

To make these colorful coasters, you will need...

• 4 x 4 inch ceramic tiles
• images of single covers (you can also buy singles from the flea market)
• Gloss Mod Podge
• sponge brush
• scissors
• stick on felt circles (not shown)

Step 2: Prep Images

You can do this first step in one of 2 ways.

1. Google an image of a single cover
2. Buy a single cover and scan it to your computer

I Googled my image on my computer (In this case: My Sharona by The Knack)

Either way, once you've done that, enlarge the image on your computer so that it's similar to or slightly smaller than your ceramic tiles. Then, print out your images. It's easier for you to use a laser printer. Or if you have an inkjet printer, make a single copy of your image to prevent the ink from smearing.

Step 3: Cut and Paste

Once you've printed out your images, you're going to cut them out and paste them onto your ceramic tile with Mod Podge. Apply just enough Mod Podge on top to prevent wrinkling. Place the image on top, and add another layer of Mod Podge to seal. Let dry.

Step 4: Add Felt Circles

Finally, attach stick on felt circles on all four corners of your tile, and you're done!

Step 5: Ready to Use

Now, you're ready to serve up some musical fashion with these cool coasters!
