Skateboard Painting

Introduction: Skateboard Painting

One day I was at the thrift shop and I saw a skateboard, and I thought it would be fun to make my own design on it.

Supplies

1. A skateboard
2. A screwdriver to take off the decks
3. Painting (I used acrylic)

Step 1: Take Off the Decks.

First I had to take off the decks of the board. For that I used a screwdriver.

Step 2: Take the Design Off the Board.

Under my board there was a big sticker. For this I just peeled it off. This step depends on what is under your board, if there is nothing to take off you can just skip to the next step.

Step 3: Start Painting.

I wanted my board to have a chessboard design. I started with painting the whole board white. I had to do two layers but this depends on how covering your paint is. Then I just started to make squares to make it look like a chessboard.

Step 4: Paint the Sunflowers.

When I was done making the chessboard design I wanted to add something extra. I really like yellow and flowers so I thought sunflowers would be good. I painted three sunflowers on my board.

Step 5: Put on the Decks Again.

When I was done with painting and it had dried I put on the decks again.
