Introduction: Small Energy Balls
A tasty and healthy snack, also for office.
Step 1: Ingredients
300 g of peeled almonds
400 g of dates
2 tablespoons Chia seeds
About 2 tablespoons cocoa
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon coconut oil or other oil
Step 2: Preparation
Mince 100 g almonds in a food processor until a fine mush originates. This may take some time. You can also buy it, but its expensive, I think.
Grind 200 g of almonds. Then chop up the dates in the food processor until they become a mash. Mix them with the ground almonds and the remaining ingredients.
How much cocoa you take, is directed after your taste. I mostly take a little less.
You can take also more taste-neutral oil, instead of the coconut oil.
From the ready mass form some walnut big balls and put them for one hour in the freezer. Then you can keep the small balls in the fridge.
